sad~happy day

sad..
today was my sweet katiebeth's last day working with us.  :(
we all love her so much!

ALTHOUGH
.. we have all decided that when she comes in on her once a month visit ,she is to come and work thru the lunch schedules so she can keep up to date with everything, and make her even more ready to get back in the swing of things for good in about two years. :)
see we have a plan.. [God gave me the inside scoop already :D]

happy..
started my allergy shots today. yep 2!

i know sounds kinda weird that i would be happy about shots, but i hoping they are gonna help me with all my issues, as well as make me feel better.

oh, and it didnt hurt at all which is very good since i will be doing this every week for the rest of my life... whew

random thoughts

 teaching today on
 "What is a four-letter word you hate to Hear" (be careful)
my class never knows about me ..
i love hanging things up a bit, and the Lord gave me today's lesson  two weeks ago.. been excited to teach it since....
          love it when He gives me "cool" stuff!

yesterday...

my sweet katiebeth and i headed for shopping and a nice lunch... it is our last "fun" day before the 'BIGday'
we enjoy shopping ...

we ate at one of her favorite restaurants...

                                      and left PLENTY of room for desert...
        i only hope she will still be able to "fit" into her wedding gown .. LOL
                      just kiddin'... one of these is mine, i was just sharing  :D
          (...hope i can still fit into mine,"tranier "bob" is gonna fuss at me this week...yikes)

i have a pastor who reminds us often that
"what is in our well will come up in our bucket".. right honey?

what we see... and what we hear, then how we react to it ...is connected to everything we are and do.


when we claim to be Christians .. we have to remember that we are a reflection of HIM, therefore, so must our attitudes.

everyday is a choice...

"this is the day that the Lord hath made.. I WILL Rejoice, and be glad id in it" Psalms 118:24

and one of my favorite sports is NASCAR

today is starts the racing season

another special weekend

this weekend was bachelor/bachelorette party 
 
katiebeth's matron of honor took all the girls in the wedding party to a nice place in the mountains for an overnight stay..  the girls watched movies and had a special time together..

just enjoying good fellowship!

..well and eating good food!

... then deidre, michelle, emma, and i drove up the next day to meet up with them

they went to the hunting club.. shot guns.. rode 4-wheelers...

then that night they meet up with more guys went out to eat and to the movies!

almost there

well as you all know ... our sweet katiebeth's wedding is in less than three weeks, so you all can imagine of all the business of getting the last minute things  done. [ i have lots of pictures, but can't post them just jet]

God has blessed in so many ways!
