my Cream Cheese Pound Cake
remember a few posts ago,when i just couldn't get it right?

i did it!
and i must say it was wonderful

my new snack foods [dehydrated veggies]
 oh, and sometimes its a meal
so, so good..and.. good for you too!

this one is my very favorite!
 this is my sweet husband and Karlie girl
they are always looking out the window, waiting for me
as i walk home from Bible Study night!
 [and no- i don't call to let them know i am coming, they just know]
   ..."i think i am missed"
isn't this the sweetest thing!

smile for the day

An elderly woman returned to her home from an evening of Church services when she was startled by an intruder.
She had caught a man in the act of robbing her home of its valuables.
 "Stop!" she yelled,
 "Acts 2:38!"
(Repent and be baptized, in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins may be forgiven).

The burglar stopped dead in his tracks and froze while the woman calmly called the police and explained the situation.
As the officer was cuffing him, he asked the burglar,
"Just out of curiosity, why did you just stand there?
All the old lady did was yell a scripture at you."
 "Scripture?!" gasped the burglar.
"She said she had an ax… and two 38's!!"

It's a funny joke, yes,
 but on a serious note —
I think we often underestimate the power of the Word of God!
We have the source so very close — its right at our fingertips and should be right on our lips!
 Yet, we neglect to declare it over our circumstances, that we may see the victory!

Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

enjoy the ride

... as most of you know
i have the pleasure of taking our sweet karlie to work everyday with me
and the one thing she loves about that is- "the ride".
she, loves .loves .loves riding in the car!
and when i put her window down - just enough for her to enjoy the
"wind blowing thru her hair"- ha!
          it is as if she smiles the whole time.

i couldn't pass the opportunity to video her this morning.
[and yes, i did this as i was...talking on the phone, changing gears,
finding a radio station, putting on my mascara,drinking my coffee, and
eating breakfast- Ha.... not!]
  i was just driving --- slowly and carefully...
