great day for a picnic

... WOW.. it has been a while since my last post.
so.. it is time for an update...

this past saturday was a beautiful fall day for a picnic, seeing all the beautiful fall leaves, and wild animals..
...sharing  that with friends, makes it's even better..

what can be better than diet sundrop and KFC.....it was great!


then scottie and dale took the "girls" for a short walk

 seeing the fall leaves..

and the elk.

we  rode the parkway as far as we could then on to catalooche valley.

only GOD could create all this beauty..

of course shopping is one of "my favorite things"
one of my other favorite things..
 is enjoying a sunny Fall day at the mountains.

so if you put those two things together...
you have a great day at the shops on the Parkway in Blowing Rock, which is where we decided to go yesterday.
