thankful thursday- i think?

well today was the day...
our sweet katiebeth and jordyn set out to their new home in Ga.
it was NOT a happy morning!
she and jordyn have stayed with us since they returned from their honeymoon, and quite honestly i was liking it.

then my wonderful son (who still lives in Nashville)
called me just to say hey and to tell me that he loves me...
that made me happy- well kinda
he's not here either...
i said "what is up with you and your sister moving so far away from home?"
he sweetly says "you can come and see me, mom"...
                  uhmm ...
he's a 5 hour drive away too. it isn't like just going to the next town.
(sigh) - big sigh
please pray for dale and i -  it is a change; and change isn't always easy
.... but we know that it is God's will, and we are soooooo very blessed.

moving on....
i am thankful for the beautiful day!
        i love the sun!
            don't you?

i took advantage of it and had lunch outside, and then this evening was gonna get a little excercise in, and go walking!

except the trees didn't want me out there.
    yep!
they put me right back indoors.

allergies..gotta love 'em

oh- and get this... the last two weeks of shots... caused an allergic reaction
"what do you call it when your allergic to your allergy shots?"
   just weird i guess....
new plans for next week, we will see how it goes

:D
"this is the day that the Lord hath made, i will rejoice and be glad in it"

"Walking" wasn't what I had in mind when I said for you and Dale to do something different. That's all you could come up with? But, if that's what you're after, I can go tomorrow night :)

Tonight, I read the chapter in Acts I was telling you about on the phone. Paul was leaving Ephesus to go to Jerusalem (leaving those He loved because God's will was elsewhere). Acts 20:38 says 'they accompanied him to the ship' which puts a lump in my throat everytime I read it. If you read the verses before that, you see how they were heartbroken he was leaving. Paul loved those people, and they loved him, but it was time to move forward with God's plan. Letting go of 'what we know' is tough, but only because we can't see the big picture. We love you so much and are praying for you daily (I truly mean that!). You and Dale have raised strong, confident children who feel safe enough to follow God's call on their lives - no matter where it takes them.

Glad you finally cried. I was beginning to think you were made of plastic :) hahaha

Love you.
